Hello, Divine One
My name is Dalia AKA the Dalialama. I’m a Lebanese American trauma-informed mental health practitioner, coach, energy healer, & yoga teacher.
I’ve been on this wellness journey for well over a decade now. It started out as a means to heal myself and transform my life, but when I experienced the profound impact that this kind of work had on my own reality, I knew I had to share what I’ve learned with others.
I have a Masters of Science in Applied Psychology, and while my graduate studies gave me a great framework into counseling practice, I always felt there was something missing. I didn’t resonate with the fact that many therapeutic approaches required clients to ‘open the wound’ over and over, so I wanted to learn more efficient ways to facilitate healing. That’s why I got certified in various other modalities. I'm an IFC accredited Life Coach and Neurolinguistic Programmer and have also received certifications in Hypnotherapy, various energy healing modalities, Bodywork and Breathwork, all of which have allowed me to approach mental health from an integrative and robust perspective. My areas of experience are:
Personal Breakthrough Experience Coaching
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Inner child healing/parts work
Reiki Healer (all levels)
Theta Healing instructor and healer
Access Bars Practitioner
Employee Performance Coach
My mission is twofold: first to create an inclusive space for people of diverse cultural, gender, and sexual identities, to heal, transform, and self-actualize. Secondly, to make mental health tools and resources more readily accessible which is why I offer free worksheets monthly, as well as create content on social media. I aim to empower my clients with the education, and insights that they need to tap into their full potential in a gender-affirming and culturally aware approach.
All emotions and experiences are welcome here.
Come as you are and leave better than you were.
I see and honor you,
The Dalialama Method
In therapy there is no ‘one size fits all’ so my approach is to create a holistic healing experience that draws from the various practices I’ve specialized in to cater to the specific and unique needs of each individual.
I also pull from my own experiences having gone through various trauma throughout the different stages of my life. I know what it feels like to be drowning in the murky waters of your own consciousness, but I also know what it feels like to choose to swim and save yourself. As Carl Jung says, "a good half of every treatment that probes at all deeply consists in the doctor's examining himself... it is his own hurt that gives a measure of his power to heal.”
The truth is, I’m not here to save you, as a matter of fact no one is coming to save you. I am here to teach you that it is possible to save yourself, and how to do so.
The way I see it, you can subscribe to one of two narratives. Life is either something that is happening to you, or it’s something that you are creating. If you believe that life is something that happens to you, then you’ve made the choice to take the blue pill and are happy staying in the Matrix. There’s no judgment there if that is what works for you. If, however, you believe that life is something you’re creating, then you are reclaiming your power, red pill in hand. However, with great power comes great responsibility so it’s paramount that you know how to wield that power in a healthy and positive way.
